Chicken  Joe and the Fabulous Cocks is a hard working band out of Tacoma, Washington, that specializes in bringing danceable rock and a great time, to the partiers of the Western United States. This proven, experienced act, dishes out  a varied blend of exciting, familiar rock tunes, combined with an entertaining,      colorful stage show, that will blow the roof off the coop! They have traveled  to Oregon, Eastern Washington and around the whole Puget Sound to bring  their active, upbeat sound to thousands over the past fifteen years. All  have enjoyed this action-packed, positive atmosphere!!

Some of the venues that have caught the Fabulous Cocks rockin  hard are: The Emerald Queen Casino/Fife, The Swiss/ Tacoma, The Central Tavern  in Pioneer Square/ Seattle,  Fabulous Firwood /Fife, and Zoobilee/ Point Defiance, among numerous other venues and private performances, up all night partying with Chicken Joe and the Fabulous Cocks. The  Band:

Chicken Joe Keller: Hatched in Lakewood, this fowl boy can crow with the best lead vocalists in the Northwest. Rhythm guitar and percussion help round  out his chores with the flock.

Old Chris Young: Flown in fresh from the East Coast via Pennsylvania, Chris brings his hot East Coast lead guitar licks with him. The youngest hatchling  can sing like a bird, too.

Doug (Damage) Talmadge: This cocky one from Kingston (Washington, not Jamaica, mon) can pound the skins with the best of them. The boy's got rhythm! His vocals again round out the unique sound of the Fabulous  ones. Lock up the Hen House,  this ones feeling "cocky".

Brian  Underwood: Hails from Oklahoma, plucks the bass and lays down the bad  bottom for the birds. He sings like a canary and holds the key to the  groove of the Cocks.

Tim Silke: Lead Guitar #2 in the "Coop", started as our soundtech, filled in on lead guitar, when Chris was moulting,  Strong  vocals, no peeping here! He also plays with "The Woodies" (founding member),  "Midlife Crisis", and " Beat Nervosa"

Ben Jackson: Sound Technician/Engineer. Washington grown fresh, newest member to the flock,

Michael Compton:  is our equipment repairman /pastry chef and comes from a long background in audio engineering/repairing including a stint as the FOH mixer for the heavy metal band Spinal Tap on their world tour.
